TADASHI TOKUHIRO, PROMINENT SPECIALIST IN NMR RELAXATION PHENOMENA AND MOLECULAR DYNAMICS
Abstract:
<p align="justify"> Tadashi Tokuhiro was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1930 and passed away in Grapevine, Texas, the USA in 2010. He obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1962. He held faculty positions at many universities, including the University of Detroit, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Missouri University of Science and Technology. His main research interest dealt with the physical and engineering application of gels, nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation phenomena, molecular dynamics, and characterization ofbiotissues by NMR methods. He published many scientific articles in widely respected journals from Japan, United States, and Great Britain. </p>
