SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES EVALUATION OF SOME NEW SPIRO 1,2,4-TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVES HAVING SULFONAMIDE MOIETY
Abstract:
<p align="justify"> A series of new spiro 1,2,4-triazoles V-IXa-j were synthesized by the reaction of appropriate amidrazones IV with cyclic ketones in the presence of p-toluene sulfonic acid as a catalyst. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been confirmed by the elemental analysis and spectroscopic data (IR, <sup>1</sup>H NMR, <sup>13</sup>C NMR and MS). The microbial features of the synthesized compounds were studied using well-established methods from the literature. </p>
