CARBON-13 NMR OF ALIPHATIC KETONES
Abstract:
<p align="justify"> This work reports unpublished Carbon-13 NMR chemical shift data of three aliphatic ketones: 2-octanone, 2-nonanone, and 2-undecanone; and corrected data for 2-hexanone (C-4) and 2-decanone (C-1; C-2). The empirical substituent effects of the CH<sub>3</sub>CO group were determined more accurately and can be useful in correlation analysis. </p>
